MTV Wonderland - Steve Aoki

I worked with ER Productions and MTV’s staff to set up lasers. Our first setup was for Aoki and Blink 182. MTV invited a live audience to give the televised performance live energy. I programmed the DMX Lasers to fit with the looks that MTV wanted.

I strapped lasers to a manlift and put Steve Aoki up in the air.

The second setup used ER Productions Laser Beam Bars to shoot static lasers across the open warehouse. We also strapped lasers to the top and bottom of a man lift and lifted a DJing Aoki 30 feet in the air. We angled the lasers down to terminate on the roof and had to work together to make sure everything was timed perfectly and safely.
